  • ¨Cobb and Hart, and the other woman just like the civil rights protesters in the south knew that the social order needed to change.¨

  • We need the social order to change!
  • ¨Glenn, Carpenter, Low, Johnson, and others used rules, regulations, prejudices revealed only behind closed doors, to resist to keep things the way they were. With the collaboration of an angry woman, the voice of the status quo got their way, and the social order stood¨ (page 80).

  • We never had the thought of putting woman in space, that´s why we were having all of those negotiations.
