The 22nd Amendment
Looks like I'm the last one that can have more than 2, 4 year terms.
The 3rd amendment was written and introduced by James Madison. This was mainly made for soldiers. They could not live in a person's house without the consent of the owner. It was ratified on December 15, 1791.
The 13th amendment abolished slavery. It was proposed by William Seward. it was passed by the United States congress on January 6, 1865. Then President Abraham Lincoln ratified this on December 6, 1865.
The 22nd amendment stated that no president could have more than two terms in office. This happened because of Franklin D. Roosevelt's death. It was passed by the U.S. Congress on March 21, 1947. It was ratified on February 27, 1951.
