The setting for the story takes place somewhere near markets for example a city or town. The character is a little girl named Jenny
The conflict is an internal debate where she is fighting with her conscience about using the money in the wallet she found. She's debating about what she wants and what is honest and right.
When Jenny is walking home wondering how she can buy the doll she sees something on the ground. She picked it up and to her surprise it was a wallet. She then looked inside and saw money and an id picture that reminded her of her grandma. She then headed back to the store went to the rack and got the doll she wanted and went toward the register soon after.
When Jenny got near the register her grandma called and her heart was then "filled with love and appreciation for her grandma" she told her grandma she had to drop off something and left the store.
In the end she didn't buy the doll and when she was walking home she saw this lady crying. She took a closer look and realized it was the lady that owned the wallet. She went up to the lady and gave her the wallet. The lady was graterful and explained "Oh, good God! This Is the money for the orphanage! Now we can bring the children puppies for Christmas! It's a miracle!" Out of gratitude the lady got Jenny cookies and even drove her home.
Jenny worked for 3 months doing chores to get her doll. Although she hated doing the extra work, she knew she had made the right choice because she could now play with her doll and look her grandma in the eye.
