hello class today we are going to talk about how the increase of CO2 has effected the oceans
Supposedly CO2 has come from cars, factory's and other human sources. but this CO2 is being absorbed by the worlds oceans and is making the ocean very "acidic"
C02 is not only effecting ocean habitats it is also effecting the land for instance rise in CO2 is heating the rises of heat in the earths
now since this water is getting acidic it is destroying marine ecosystems and marine animals which will leave a big impact on us humans for instance people with marine jobs or people that depend on fish or other sea animals for a food source
now also C02 is affecting the polar ice caps. with the increase of CO2 the ice caps are melting away which will decrease the amount of fresh drinking water as we depend a lot on the melting ice that supplies us with our water
even though global warming has left a impact we can still help by maybe taking a bike or walking to places to decease the CO2 that cars realese or start swiching to more renewable energy sources
