  • Midsummer Night's Dream
  • James Mahony Core 1 5-10-19
  • Act 1
  • In the woods is where myself and Lysander shall meet. We will turn our eyes from Athens.
  • Tomorrow night, through Athens' gates we have devised to steal.
  • Act 2
  • Wherefore was I to this keen mockery born?. What have I done to deserve this scorn?
  • And, all my powers, address your love and might to honour Helen, and to be your knight!
  • Act 3
  • Thou should have little reason to love me, and to say the truth. Reason and love keep little company together nowadays.
  • The two lovers Lysander and Hermia have devised to leaves Athens' the next night so they start a new life together.
  • Act 4
  • O, how mine eyes do loathe his visage now!
  • Now, when thou wak'st, with thine fool's eyes peep.
  • Lysander wakes up in the woods, all of the sudden in love with Helena instead of Hermia. But Helena thinks this is some cruel joke and runs away into the woods.
  • Act 5
  • More strange than true, I may never believe these fables about these fairy toys.
  • ´Tis strange, my Theseus, that these lovers speak of.
  • After Puck puts a special liquid into Titania's eyes. She wakes up next to Bottom and fell in love with him despite him having the headof an ass.
  • Thou art as wise as thou art beautiful.
  • Puck and Oberon had to fix Titania. So Puck decided to remove the asses head from Bottom, then make it so Titania does not love Bottom anymore.
  • The lover return, telling the king and queen of what had happened. They did not believe them though. So the wedding continued like nothing ever happened.
