No plant life or other living organisms besides desert animals.
Water collects in a small puddle of water after the rain poured down. Small plants begin to grow.
Water collects enough to expand the sand and collect into a small pond. Small creatures such as jumping mice, frogs, snakes and small crocodiles begin moving in. The winds from the storm blow away most of the sand and leave a flat plain. More plant life begins to grow.
Here Come The Neighbors
Larger plant life begins to flourish and more small creatures more into the habitat along with a few larger creatures such as giraffes, lions and monkeys.
Due to the new constant rains, water has built up and eventually was able to make a flowing river across the dry land. Many small creatures has to move their to dryer homes to avoid being swept away by the river.
These leeches are delicious!
The river has brought many herds from far away. Some species have grown as the food sources increase.
