God makes a promise with men; that allows them to accept their mistakes and to have a second chance. In Genesis 9 the first thing that happens is that God blesses Noah and his sons with a covenant saying that there will no longer be any floods that destroy humanity. He tells them that he will mark the clouds with a bow (rainbow) to show us that he is keeping his promise. Then Noah gets drunk because he drank wine. He then gets naked outside his tent.Final- Noah told his sons that they shouldn’t live their life without giving other people second chances. A life lesson we can learn from this passage was give people second chances to give them time to correct their mistakes.
"God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them: Be fertile and multiply and fill the Earth"(Gn 9:1).
"I will establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all creatures be destroyed by the waters of a flood; there shall not be another flood to devastate the earth"(Gn 9:11)
"Shem and Japheth, however, took a robe, and holding it on their shoulders, they walked backwards and covered their father's nakedness; since their faces were turned the other way, they did not see their father's nakedness"(Gn 9:23)
We should give people second chances to give them time to correct their mistake
