Storyboard Text

  • Have you ever heard of motion?
  • Sir Isaac Newton made 3 different laws of motion
  • If you push at a wall then it will push right back.
  • You can't push it down because it is pushing with equal force.
  • An object in motion will stay in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an opposing force, says Sir Isaac's 1st law
  • Newton's 2nd law talks about balanced and unbalanced forces. If the force is balanced on all sides, then the object will not move or will stay at it's current speed. If it is unbalanced then the object will move
  • Sir Isaac Newton's last law of motion stated that for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction
  • If an object started moving and there was no force to stop it it would go in the same direction forever
  • Sir Isaac Newton has a measurement named after him named a Newton. It measures force and has is the weight of an apple
