The Mossi's origin was when a princess from Gambaga fleed from her father looking like a man because of a dispute she had had with him.
She had fallen for a man in the Boussans tribe and had gotten married and had a child, which they named Wedraogo and when he was older he was given by his grandfather a large stockpile of resources.
Wedraogo conquered the Boussans tribe and married a woman that gave him three children, then he built a city called Tenkodogo.
Diaba Lompo was the oldest son of the sons and he was the one who founded the city Fada N'gourma
The second oldest son named Rawa became the ruler of a place called Zondoma.
The youngest son named Zoungrana became the ruler of Tenkodogo after his father had died.
