  • The Mossi's origin was when a princess from Gambaga fleed from her father looking like a man because of a dispute she had had with him.
  • She had fallen for a man in the Boussans tribe and had gotten married and had a child, which they named Wedraogo and when he was older he was given by his grandfather a large stockpile of resources.
  • Wedraogo conquered the Boussans tribe and married a woman that gave him three children, then he built a city called Tenkodogo.
  •  Diaba Lompo was the oldest son of the sons and he was the one who founded the city Fada N'gourma
  • The second oldest son named Rawa became the ruler of a place called Zondoma.
  • The youngest son named Zoungrana became the ruler of Tenkodogo after his father had died.
