  • Cratchit asks for Christmas off.
  • Christmas is just a waste of money and time! However, I guess you can.
  • Scrooge & Marley
  • Can I have Christmas day off Mr. Scrooge?
  • Marley visits Scrooge.
  • You have a chance to change and not have your fate be the same as mine if you listen to the three spirits that will visit you.
  • AHH! Marley? You should be dead. Why are you here?
  • Ghost of Christmas Past arrives.
  • I remember this! I wish I was nicer to the boy last night...
  • I've come to take you home Scrooge! 
  • My sister Fan! It's so nice to see you!
  • Emma Gott When Bob Cratchit asks Ebenezer Scrooge for Christmas Day off, Scrooge pesters Cratchit about it then lets him have the day off. This shows that Scrooge isn't totally heartless but he doesn't believe Christmas is more important than work.
  • Ghost of Christmas Present arrives.
  • Merry Christmas! We are all so thankful for each other and this meal!
  • When Scrooge goes to sleep he is awoken by the ghost of his business partner, Jacob Marley. He tells Scrooge that he can change himself and that 3 spirits will visit him. Scrooge is still doubtful and pessimistic. However, you can tell Scrooge is slightly hopeful that he can change himself.
  • Ghost of Christmas Future arrives.
  • When the ghost of Christmas Past arrives he shows Scrooge some of his past. First the spirit took Scrooge back to when he was in boarding school and his sister comes to take him home. This makes him feel nostalgic about the memories he made. This makes Scrooge regret not being nice and giving something to the caroling boy the night before. The next Christmas the spirit shows him is with Fezziwig, when he attended his Christmas ball. Scrooge remembers how nice he was. This makes him want to apologize to Cratchit.

  • When the Ghost of Christmas Present arrives he shows Scroogehow the people he knows celebrate Christmas. He starts by showing Scrooge theCratchit family dinner. Despite being poor, they're grateful for what theyhave. Scrooge realizes that he has not been nice to people and starts to think about changing that.
  • I should probably be nicer to people...
  • When the spirit takes Scrooge to see people talking about being happy he died, watch people sell his stuff, see the Cratchit family grieve over Tiny Tim, and then go visit his own grave, Scrooge decides he does not want to be remembered like this. Scrooge wants to change his actions towards people and be kinder.

  • I don't want to be known like this! I want to change!
  • When Scrooge wakes up, he is extremely happy. Scrooge yells to a boy walking on the street asking what day it is and if the prize turkey is still hanging in the butcher. He sends the boy off to buy it for him and pays him for it. Scrooge sends the turkey to the Cratchit family. He also raises Bob's salary.
