  • The Italians came to Libya and occupied them on October 1911. The Libyans were trying to resist them by getting whatever weapons they could get from them. The people fighting against the Italians were the Mojahideen. The Libyans had to live in concentration camps under the control of the Italian army.  Life in the concentration camps were terrible for the Libyans because people died of hunger, illness, and some were hanged or shot. Mojahidden continued to fight the Italian occupation but he ran out of food and Omar Al-Moktar asked him to retire and leave Libya.  In the first box, I putted the map of Libya by finding a map of Africa and cropping just the country of Libya. The two soldiers with the gun represent the Italians entering Libya and occupying their land. the two people with one hand in front of them are trying to resist the Italians from killing them. Ahhhhh shows that they are scared of the Italians killing them. I added a picture of the forest in the background of the second box. The technique that I decided to choose for the second box is Analogy. I putted the same Italian soldiers in the second box killing the Libyans and the same people resisting them and saying Ahhhh to show that they were scared. But the part that I added was the Libyans running away from the Italians. I was comparing resisting the Italians to running away from them. The people of Libya are having a hard time protecting themselves from the Italians.
