Lennie and George are migrant workers and They are running away from men on horse back,jumps into a pond near the field they were running in to hide from the guys. After the men leave George ad Lennie then hops onto a moving train to get as far away from that area as possible.
Lennie and George arrive at the ranch and is greeted by a barking dog which leads Curley over to greet them. The he takes them to meet the boss . After a while Curley takes them to the shed where they'll sleep and then bosses son comes in and statrs terrorizing Lennie and starts confusion with George because he's jelous that Lennie is bigger than he is.
Candy finds the wifes body. Lennie had broken her kneck which caused her to die. George trys to get the men to understand that Lennie didnt mean any harm then the man take off to find Lennie
Lennie accidentally kills the puppy while in the barn by himself
George find out that Lennie has killed the wife and finds him. George distacts him by talking about their dream to tend the rabbits and live a good life. George pulls out Carlos's gun and shoots Lennie in the head.
Of mice and men it represents the theme of sexism, racism, dreams, and the ability to make decisions
