"Three Skeleton Key” written by George G. Toudouze. Three Skeleton Key was the place where the narrator worked. Three Skeleton Key got it's name from three prisoner escaping and swimming over to this island, then the died from hunger and thirst and became skeletons. The narrator works at a light house for two years at a time, he only gets a weekend off every four and a half weeks. The narrator works with two other people Le Gleo and Itchoua. Le Gleo was the Breton and Itchoua was the Basque. The reason the narrator was working there was because the pay was high and he wanted to save up before he married. The pay was high because sharks were swarming the little rock and it had a bad reputation so people didn't want to work there. the narrator and the others didn't have much to do until now.
