Storyboard Text

  • There was a beautiful swan in a pond. It's feathers were white snow. The swan spent her days swimming and eating the weeds underwater.
  • The crow's feathers were as black as a midnight sky and he was jealous of the swan. His jealousy stemmed from his want for such pure, white wings.
  • The crow thought that if he lived like the swan, he would be just as beautiful. He decided that once his wings were white, he would be able to live just like a swan.
  • The crow left his home in the trees and lived near the swan in the marshes. He washed his feathers a thousand times, but sadly, there was no use. His wings stayed black as night.
  • In the process, he almost drowned multiple times. The sound of his "Caws!" were drowned out by the water. He realized that if he continued, he would not live much longer.
  • Since he could not be as beautiful as the swan, he would change how he ate. He ate the weeds, and as time went on, he became thinner and thinner. In the end, his change of habit killed him.
