  • Hello, today I will be explaining to you all what cocaine is and how it can affect you.
  • Cocaine is made of the leaves from the coca plant. Technically cocaine is the alkaloid found inside the leaves.
  • Users normally inhale cocaine. When people snort the drug, they inhale cocaine powder through the nostrils, where it is absorbed into the bloodstream through the nasal tissues. Cocaine would fall in the class of CNS stimulant drugs (which stands for Central Nervous System), using it in large amounts can lead to feelings of depression.
  • Some of the long term affects of taking cocaine are Moodiness as the effects of the drug begin to diminish, the person using it might start to seem moody. When cocaine is used, the heart speeds up and the blood vessels constrict. This combination of effects can trigger a heart attack, stroke or cardiac arrest.
  • during which the drug is taken repeatedly and at increasingly high doses, may lead to increasing irritability, restlessness, and paranoia.
  • Some affects of taking cocaine is how you might behave. One of the effects of taking cocaine is person using it might start to seem moody. when people are coming off of cocaine, they try to avoid social situations, and they may take other things, such as sleeping pills, or drink alcohol to help.
