  • I'm not sayin' she's touched the Devil, now, but i'd admire to know what books she reads and why she hides them. She'll not answer me, y'see/
  • Ah! The stoppage of prayer--- that is strange.I'll speak further on that with you.
  • While Elizabeth is bringing a rabbit to eat, Proctor is concerned and questions if she is okay.
  • Abby!
  • She made me do it! She made betty do it!
  • Parris and Giles Corey explaining to Hale that John doesn't believe in witches after being asked if the children are afflicted.
  • Who?
  • I don't know, sir, but the Devil got him numerous witches.
  • A brief moment between Hale and Giles, after Giles mentions that his wife Martha has a book that's suspicious.

  • When Hale questioned Abigail about selling herself to Lucifer, Mrs. Putnam walks in with Tituba, Abigail instantly points and accuses Tituba.
  • While questioning Tituba about her relation with the Devil, she tells him about how there's numerous withces, not just her or a few.
  • A great deal in the story when Tituba blurts that she was told to kill Parris due to him being an unholy man.
