House arrest, how funny I was spreading my belief.
The earths not perfectly round
-Copernicus second guessed ptolemy - He came up with the Heliocentric theory that says planets revolve around the sun. -Everyone second guessed him - He died In May, 1543
The reasoning is....
- At first Galileo believed in the Geocentric theory (planets revolve around the earth) and he said that heliocentric was wrong. -Then he started to believe in it. -He then shared his belief and the church did not like him for that.
Church Vs. Scientific Revolution
We told you were wrong and you wouldn't leave! Excommunication!
- Story told that he was sitting under an apple tree and an apple hit his head and he knew everything -He discovered the earths not perfectly round -Wrote the Composition of light -Also Newtons law of gravity/ motion
and thats how you state reason
-He created the scientific method -He created a way to find proof using reason -This was a major part of the Scientific Revolution
-The church did not like the scientist -The teachings of the Bible were questioned during this time -For the church, political , social, and economic authority was on the line -If scientist went against the church they would face excommunication
Now in 2018, we use the Scientific Method in science for experiments, which is a big thing some can state reasoning.
