Storyboard Text

  • Jury the defendant is charged with stealing the colored eggs from the egg hunt. The cost for those eggs was 200 dollars.
  • I can prove he is not guilty of taking all the colored eggs!
  • I can prove that he is guilty for taking all the colored eggs! And I can prove it better.
  • John couldn't have taken the eggs because he was running errands for his mom. I call my first witness to the stand...
  • Step one: The jury is told what their duties are.
  • Step two: Opening statements from both sides. This allows both sides to state what they plan to prove to the judge and jury.
  • Jury this is what you do know...
  • Step three: Evidence is presented from both sides of the case.
  • Based on the evidence presented John is not guilty for taking the eggs!
  • Step four:Closing statements allow both sides to wrap everything up and restate their main points
  • In conclusion John is guilty because the security footage shows us that he did it.
  • Step five: Jury instruction the judge will provide the jury with instruction depending on how the case went
  • Step six: The verdict, the decision of the court, it is final until it is appealed to a higher court
