- Once upon a time, a boy named John lived in India with his parents
- He studied in an Indian school. His favorite subject was maths. He never went outside India and in his school he only learned about Indian system of numeration.
- He also used to ask his father about the costs of every things that cost more than thousand Rupees.
- It costs Rs. Two lakh, ninety four thousand.
- Dad, what is the cost of the new car we bought yesterday?
- One year, he and his family went to UAE for the vacation. He visited a theme park there.
- There was also a lottery.
- Hello Everyone !!!!!! Today we have an exciting lottery ! Third Prize is One Hundred Thousand, Second Prize is Five Hundred Thousand Dirhams and the winner gets ONE MILLION DIRHAMS!!!!!!!
- Lakhs and Crores are part of the Indian System of numeration. Millions and hundred thousands are from the International System of numeration.
- Dad, what is one million and hundred thousand? I only knew about lakhs and crores.
- If you want to convert One million into the Indian system of numeration, it is Ten Lakh. Hundred thousand will be One Lakh.
