Hello, today were gonna be learning about earthquakes.
An earthquake is when a moving rock under earth's surface causes shaking.
Since the're are rocks under the surface that makes stress.
Which is making it change the shape and volume.
This stress can cause a fault, which is a crack in the earths surface.
This can happen when slabs of earth slip past each other and create a crack.
There is a strike slip, normal, and reverse faults.
There is also fault block mountains. These are created by two normal faults.
