  • On the island of Avalonia, there was nothing but harmony. The ruler of Avalonia was in love. He was head-over-heels this one special lady from a city called Leaky Stone. He proposed, and they soon got married. Everything seemed to be sailing smoothly.
  • Little did he know he spoke too soon. His wife was soon to ‘betray’ him. Rumors had been made about the possibility that she was swooped away by another gentleman, William, who happened to also be from Leaky Stone.
  • University of Leaky Stone We are pleased to announce that you have been chosen to participate in our summer program.
  • They tried negotiating an agreement of who would stay in power and who would step down from the throne. “I still want to be in power…” said Queen Nettie. “Well we can’t both get what we want.” Replied King Alvis. After the unsuccessful meeting full of nonstop bickering, the queen returned home while King Alvis decided to settle everything once and for all. He sent all his guards out to create a river, separating the island into two. The river was just about finished. The guards anything that had a sense of happiness or joy into the ocean.
  • NOW LEAVING Enchanted Gardens
  • Color in that city was no where to be found.   Its morning now and everyone begins to rise. Something doesn’t feel right, but no one can put their finger on it. How had such a vibrant city turned so dull.  “Where am I?” asks Queen Nettie., “where’s the king?”
  • “What? What do you mean all the slots are full?” Justine grunts reading through all the schools’ websites. Suddenly her eyes widen.  “Huh?” she says confusingly. “University of Leaky Stone” it was the only school left, but she had never heard of it.  She proceeds to read the rest of the email with a shocked look stuck on her face like glue. “Well… I guess that’s where I’ll be going.”
  • She packed a small bag of clothes and headed out to the bus stop. Justine had the feeling of butterflies in her stomach, but that wouldn’t stop her summer of adventure. On the bus ride, she sat next a boy who seemed to be about her age. She didn’t want the whole bus ride to be quiet, so she tried to start a conversation.  “Hi! I’m Justine. What’s your name?” she asked. “Ramon.” He croaked. Justine thought to herself, “this is going to be a lot harder than I thought.”
