  • Ribosome Transcription Translation
  • The ribosome is a cell organelle which assists in a step of protein synthesis called translation and it is where amino acids bond and form proteins.
  • Ribosome
  • What is protein synthesis?
  • Glad you asked
  • Protein synthesis is a process in which you need the two steps of translation and transcription to take place in order to produce protiens.
  • Transcription is the step in protein synthesis where DNA is unzipped and turned into an RNA polymerase ready for translation at the ribosome.
  • Transcription
  • Translation
  • Translation is the step where mRNA is encoded within the ribosome, going in one side, grabbing a tRNA anticodon and coming out the other side, resulting in a poly peptide chain that would soon fold into whatever proteins its coded for.
