Before the Great Depression and before the Stock Market crashed, me and my family lived in this nice beautiful home in this nice quiet respectable neighborhood. Then in October 29, 1929 everything changed.
Home Sweet Home in Hooverville, We lost everything!
Me and my family been living here for a while now when our money, lives, identity was stripped away from us.
Hi My name is President Hoover. People think that it is my fault that all the american citizens have no money and homes.
People even packed up their things and lived out of their cars because they didnt want to live in Hoovervilles and had no other place to go
The New Deal provided more jobs so men, women, and families could support themselves
America is in a slope but i know we can get back up on our feet as an healthy strong country
Things eventually got a lot better for America in 1939
We now have a home and i have a new job to help provide for my wife and kids! Things are definitely turning around for America!
