In a small village known as St. Malo there were two knights. One single and the other one was married to a polite lady. The single knight had loved the married lady and fell in love with her.
“Tower to tower, hall from hall- -Nothing but one high dark stone wall. At the window of her bedroom suite the lady would stand, and, oh! how sweet!”
Every night the lady would leave her bed. The husband wanted to know why his wife kept on leaving so he asked her why. She said it was because of a “laustic’s” song. He then decided to catch the bird so she wouldn’t leave anymore.
The knight then sent two of his servants to catch the bird using lime juice. Once they caught the bird they brought it to their master the knight/husband.
The knight then gave this nightingale/"laustic" to his wife. He said, "You should sleep in peace. Well never again."
The wife sent a servant to deliver the "laustic" to her neighbor and loving knight. It was a gift for him also the servant brought a little massage from her for him.
