Storyboard Text

  • Abigail calewarts
  • Rumble Fish
  • by S.E. Hinton
  • Genre: Young adult fiction
  • Rusty James and all the characters live in a  trashy neighborhood , "Runble" stands for street fights which are well known where Rusty lives.
  • While i was reading i predicted steve would always be the one to get james out of bad situations, as the story went on and motor cycle boy decided to stay for awhile jame's attitude got worse and steve came to a stage where he no longer wanted to be around it.
  • I didn't see that coming because even if steve and james are so different they make such a great team and understand eachother
  • I didn't really expect the huge conflict at the ending, where the motor cycle boy broke into the pet store, it kinda lost me because i had so many quiestions just for that one conflict.
  • Steve reminds me of a few different people i know that would only want the best for me and that is how i feel for james when he hangs out with Steve.
  • Which Character did you prefer?
  • I prefer/prefered steve, when i picture him i picture a good person, maybe a little nerdy but very dependent. Steve made me feel like this because to  me i feel like he was the best influence james had ever had.
  • Is Steve like anyone you know?
  • What could be a reason why someone would read this book or relate to it?
  • Why do you think the author wrote this book?
  • To show that people make many mistakes and not every one has a perfect life.
  • Well the book addresses many life problems, and it makes me think of rusty james against cruel society, i also feel like people could relate to the fact that james didnt worry about his conquences for his mistakes until they actually happend.
