Storyboard Text

  • Learning English is difficult for me in the classroom. Sometimes I feel behind just sitting here and not knowing what is being taught.
  • So, I bring my homework home and my older sister (mi hermana) helps me, and sometimes my parents (mis padres) try their hardest.
  • Today, I am working on a project where I get to design my own town. Of course, my family will be in it!
  • I'm using my own creativity and ideas and I can draw them out and place English words when I can.
  • I can use my experience at church to create one in my town project. I like this project because it now connects my school life to my religion.
  • I can use my experience with friends from school, too, and talk to them about what they like to do for fun.
  • I like your ideas! Your project is really cool, and I can help you with any words you might need.
  • I was able to create my ideal town for the project and practice my English and connect school to all the most important parts of my life. I like school, and I know it will take time to master English, but I can do it!
