  • Phileas Fogg was well-konwn as a British gentleman,who is quite wealthy but no one knows how he earned so much money. One day he interviewed an 'all-round' new manservant called Passepartout. Passepatout has a rich resume,such as singer in streets, acrobat, dancer on a tightrope,teacher and an officer in the fire service. Mr Fogg seemed satisfied with him.The new servant was hired immediantly and successfully.

  • Mr Fogg insist that he could travel around the world in eitghty days while others did not think so. Mr Stuart, one of Mr Fogg's friends,bet four thousand pounds for this travel.  Rest four friends accepted the bet, and Mr Fogg warned them that they would have to pay for his journey. After betting Mr Fogg start his travel with his new servant Passepartout. They took a train leaves for Dover at 8.45 that evening.

  • Today ... Saturday.
  • When Mr Fogg, Passepartout and Sir Francis,who they met in travel, they found a young woman would be burned with her old dead huasband-a prince in India. Phileas decided to save the poor woman. Sir Francis praised him like a kind-heart person. But they did not have the chance to save her in the evening. The second day morning, they saved the woman successfully by Passepartout's bravery and intelligence. At last they took Aouda,the poor educated  woman,to Hong Kong

  • Mr Fogg thought he was fail after the travel,because he used 5 more minutes than expected.He thought he would bankruptcy.He told Aouda all his regret with sadness.Aouda said she was not mind and asked if she could marry him. Mr Fogg replied immediately with happiness and ask Passepartout to call Reverend Samuel Wilson to make arrangements for a marriage. Passepartout understood and went out  with joy on his face.
  • Passepartout found the mistake they made in time. They were not fail! But they only had 10 minutes left. He ran into Mr Fogg's room and told him the thing.Passepartout took his master and pulled him out of the room. Phileas Fogg, carried off without having time to think, left the house, jumped into a carriage, promised a hundred pounds to the driver, and having run over two dogs and knocked against five other carriages, reached the Reform Club. 
  • Yes, yes, yes!You have made a mistake of one day. We reached London twenty-four hours early. But we have only ten minutes!
  • On the Saturday evening the five gentlemen had met at the Reform Club at eight o'clock.They wait for Mr Fogg patiently and they thought they would win. At only one minute more to nine, they began to count the seconds.At the fifty-seventh second, the door of the room opened and, before the hand of the clock reached the sixtieth second, Phileas Fogg appeared followed by a large crowd of people who had forced their way into the building. Oh yeah!!Mr Fogg won the bet!
