This is the scene where daedalus and icarus beg the ship driver to get them out of the tower. Quote: "But king minos kept strict watch over them, and no ships sail without being carefully searched.Line number 1-10.
Ths is the scene where daedalus decides to fly away instead of using bribery to try to escape. Quote:" Minos may control the land and sea, but he does not control the air." Line numbers 11-12.
On this scene where Icarus flys higher and higher, but does not realize that the sun is melting his wings and fals into the water and dies. Quote:" Icarus! Icarus my son where are you? At last he saw his feathers." Line numbers 80-81.
In this scene Daedalus finds Icarus and carrys him to land and burries him. Quote:" He gathered the boy in his arms and carried him to land. Line numbers 88-89.
In this part of the story Daedalus builds his temple and hung up his wings. Quote:" Hung up his wings as an offering to god. Line numbers 91-92.
I think that one of the themes could be that in the text it says" For freedom, and the danger people are willing to face to gain it. Line numbers 41-46. I think this fits as a theme becasue it is showing that daedualus cares for his son and is teeling him the directions on how to fly.
