Isaac Newton has created and discovered many things such as his reflecting telescope or his 3 Laws of Motion. He also discovered that if light passed through a prism, on the other side there would be the colors of the rainbow. He made many changes to his time that benefited through his history and made him famous.
I have proven that the Sun is in the CENTER and the Earth revolves AROUND the Sun (as seen in the model). I have called it heliocentrism.
Galileo Galilei discovered 4 of Jupiter's moons as well as proving Nicolaus Copernicus's heliocentrism theory. He was arrested for going against what the Bible said and was excommunicated from the Church.

Johann Kelper created the Planetary Laws of Motion, telling us if something can be a planet or not by the way it orbits the sun.
Nicolaus Copernicus created the theory, heliocentrism, which stated that the Earth revolved around the Sun, not the other way around.
Conflict arose between the scientific thought and traditional religious beliefs. The Bible, as interpreted by the Roman Catholic Church, had always been the authority, so when the theories and books about things that contradicted the Bible led to conflict. In the example above, it is one of the scientists in the Scientific Revolution, Galileo Galilei, who was arrested for going against what the Bible said about how the Sun goes around the Earth.
Although the Bible might say that the Earth is in the center, it doesn't mean that we can't prove history wrong.
Many of the things that the scientists in the Scientific Revolution created have developed our future. If it weren't for Nicolaus Copernicus, we would probably still think that the world was in the center. If it weren't for Isaac Newton and his telescope and light prism, we wouldn't be able to see the stars and learn things about space or know what light did when passing through a prism or anything translucent would create color, which would lead us to not knowing how rainbows are made. Scientists from back then shaped our future so that what we have today is because of them.
