  • List of what not to do: 1. Don't buy as much plastic  2. Don't throw away plastic bottles, take them to walmart and recycle them 3. Use glass containers instead of plastic bags.
  • Practice X2
  • Piper identities that she wants to help keep her community cleaner by recycling.
  • Explain
  • Piper made a list on what to avoid doing to make her cycling goal come true. 
  • Assess
  • Piper is encouraging her classmates and teachers to recycle their bottles at school.  Piper is also practicing recycling at home with her parents.  
  • Reflect
  • Was I successful?  Should I continue recycling? 
  • Pipers parents are going to be recycling to support their daughter and help make the planet cleaner. (PF) They will also make sure that Piper doesn't pressure the kids at school that might not be able to afford to buy only glass, and no plastic bags. (RF) 
  • After about 2 weeks Piper saw a difference in how many plastic bottles are in the trash and more in the recycling. She also saw a difference outside and saw less trash on the ground because she inspired people to recycle.
  • Piper reflects on how she did recycling.
