The story of Chris from Into the Wild by John Krakauer, meeting Holden Caulfield from the book Catcher and the Rye written by JD Salinger.
Alex, society isn't always bad and disgusting. There is always someone to help you in your problems and frustrations. I'm telling you this because I have learnt this in my experience.
You are walking the same path I have walked in life. You are all alone, and you have run away from your family. I think that you made a bad decision in leaving your family.
No matter what problem you are facing Alex, but in life there is someone that you can always count on for help.
And that someone is your Family Alex.
Goodbye Holden. You are like a younger brother to me. Thank you for everything.
Holden says to Chris that his decision on leaving his family behind was a bad one. Holden says to Chris that his belief on Society maybe correct, but it isn't completely correct. Holden says this to Chris because Holden had the same thoughts and beliefs about Society, and the people living in it, and he doesn't want Chris to continue on that path.
I should have listened to Holden . I was so wrong about society and family. Now I know what Holden meant.
Holden says to Chris that in life there is always to help him in his frustrations and problems. Holden tells Chris that no matter how much Chris hates his parents, they will always be there to help Chris. By listening to Holden say this, Chris just smiles, and says goodbye to Holden, and continues on his journey to Alaska.
Good Luck for your Journey to Alaska, Alex.
Thanks for everything Holden. I will surely miss you.
Chris doesn't reply to Holden's message. He just smiles and walks away by saying goodbye to Holden, and thanking him. He continues on his journey to Alaska, despite Holden's message.
I think now is the time to tell Chris.
Coming back to Alaska, Chris remembers about the message Holden had told him. He thinks about it and regrets just walking away. Chris could have stayed in the city or returned back to his family, just like Holden told but he didn't , and now he himself is suffering his own ignorance.
After both Chris and Holden finish eating, Chris starts to pack and leave . Chris tells Holden that he will miss Holden. Holden wishes good luck for Chris's journey to Alaska.
Chris packs his clothes in his bags, and prepares to leave. He goes out, and sees Holden's house for the last time, from outside the House. Holden decides to tell something to Chris. ...
