- Every evening we go and play football in the park. One day a friend of mine Udit joined us and said they also play in their park.
- We have a small park so we play on one side of it but people keep stepping into our side that disturbs our match.
- Udit why don't you put poles on four sides of the area you play in and tie ropes so it encloses the ground and the game stays undisturbed, Also if anyone else wants to play a field game they can use it also.

- Thanks Vedant! The idea your elder brother gave yesterday was well taken by our society, But they have asked us to arrange the rope

- To decide the quantity of rope needed you could measure the length and breadth of the space you play in I remember It is rectangular.

- So we found that the length is 70m and the breadth is 50m
- The perimeter shows you the length of rope needed to enclose your playing area .
- So you can find out the perimeter with these dimensions which is 2(l+b) so 2(70+50)it comes to 240m.
