  • Welcome to the Persian War. In the Persian war was the Greeks and the Persians who didn't get along. This war started because the Persians wanted to take over Europe and obviously ran into Greek. In this war the Greeks won and got the victory but King Darius was furious.
  • Welcome to the Battle of Marathon. In the Battle of Marathon the Persians and Athens were fighting. The Athens win against the Persian army at the Battle of Marathon. The Greeks won at Marathon by catching the persians out of formation which led to them losing their fight and not being able to win
  • Welcome to the Battle of Thermopylae. In this war Sparta was fighting against Persians. At Thermopylae the persians were way too strong with all their soldiers so in the end the Persians won at Thermopylae. But the Greeks considered this war a success because they had time to make a plan while 300 other soldiers fought to their death, so they can make a plan for the next war.
  • Welcome to the Battle of Salamis. In this war it was Themistocles and Persia fighting.  In this battle the Themistocles won against Persia because they had lots of time to plan at Thermopylae. Themistocles won at Salamis because they moved all their people to a smaller place so the Persians coud snatch but Themistocles had fewer ships that were smaller and faster than Persian ships so they were able to sink about 300 Persian ships and lost about 40 of their own.
  • Welcome to the Battle of Plateau. In this battle the Greek city-states combined forces to go against Persian armies. They also improved there weapons and armor for this battle as well. In this war the Greeks won with their large amount of numbers. The Greeks won because they outnumbered the Persian army by a lot.
  • Welcome to the End of Persia. After Greece defeated Persia they didn't have strong armies to defend their kingdom, they were not happy with their government, kings charged high taxes for palaces and other rich things, and royal families couldn't decide who would be king. But in 300 B.C. they got invaded by a powerful ruler named Alexander and after that their kingdom was done.
