This is the map of the Middle Colonies. There is New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
The Middle Colonies climate was warm but not the best for growing. It was better for growing than in the New England Colonies, but not quite as good for growing a the Southern Colonies. The geography had many hills. The soil was rich, but not as rich as the Southern Colonies. Overall, the geography and climate is better than in the New England Colonies, but not as good as the Southern Colonies.
The Middle Colonies economy was a good one. It had a big port for boats in New York City, so that was good for importing and exporting goods. It also had many small farms to grow food in. In the Middle Colonies, they had a good economy that had a good trade center.
In the Middle Colonies there are many important people. I have to pick one, so I chose the Duke of York. I chose him because he was able to take power of it and run the same way until he dies. When he got power of it he gave some of it to his friend. That part became New Jersey. The Duke of York was an important person in the Middle Colonies.
My regions religion is different in the colonies. Pennsylvania was run by a Quaker, so the churches had women church leaders sometimes. New York and New Jersey had diverse populations. Those states had many different people living in them.
All of the colonies in the region had a legislature. They were run by a governor. They all were a democracy. It was mainly Proprietary, but New York was a royal colony.
