The Iroquois lived in a woodland area and hunted a variety of different animals. They hunted with spears and bows.
The Iroquois people spoke Mohawk and Seneca. The people would live with there whole families in one house. They believed in deites and the most important thing that they believe in is the Great Spirit.
Each tribe in the Iroquois league had its own elected officials called chiefs. These chiefs would attend the Iroquois council where major decisions were made regarding the five nations

All the Iroquois tribes were divided into three clans the turtle, bear, and wolf all the tribes were headed by their clan mother. All the villages were usually fortified and large. Which kept them safe from invaders and animals that would try to eat there crops
Agriculture provided most of the Iroquois diet. For example, they ate corn, beans, and squash which were known as "deohako "or "life supporters. The women owned and tended the the fields. While they would tend to the fields the clan mother would watch over and make sure everything is going well.
The Iroquois would wear dear skin. Men would wear leggings while women would wear skirts. They would wear soft leather shoes called Mokasins.
