Storyboard Text

  • The struggler
  • There was sleep, starving sleep and the irritation of half awakeness, and the punishment of the floor.
  • He sat on his suitcase waiting. How many days has it been now?
  • He is a Jew. He is starving. Ever since he has been hiding in this small black storage room.
  • Behind Max Vandenburg, the city Stuttgart opened it's arm in mockery. He was not welcomed there.
  • The struggler continued
  • November 3, the train held to his feet. He carried the book Mein Kampf. His savior and sweat was coming out his hands
  • Walter Kugler, his German friend wanted to say goodbye with gifts and a quick discussion about the book Mein Kampf.
  • In one hand he held his suitcase and the other held the book Mein Kampf. He turned to the side street when he arrived resisting to sob or even the safety that might be awaiting on him.
  • The struggler concluded
  • He followed the map in his mind, from Pasing to Molching. His legs ached and he was at the most dangerous place to be.
  • Thirty three was the house number. The house was pale and almost sick-looking. From his pocket he held a key. For a moment he squeeze it onto his hands as he leaned forward to open the door.
