Walter Cunningham is a scientist and astronaut in the Apollo program. Walt put his science and technology background into real action as a Marine Corps fighter pilot and Apollo Lunar Module pilot. In 1968, he was a Lunar Module Pilot on the Apollo 7 mission. He was NASA's third civilian pilot.

Dr. Brooks actively conducted research throughout her career in addition to working as a pediatric surgeon.
