Siddhartha Gautama was born around the 6th to 4th century BC, in Lumbini, Nepal
Siddhartha was born into a royal family that was incontrol of the large Shakyas clan. He grew up with his father and those who served their clan. Siddhartha's mum died 7 days after giving birth to him
An holy man was brought to Siddhartha by his father. The man prophesied that Siddhartha would become either a king, a military leader or a great spiritual leader.
As a young boy Siddhartha was very heavily protected by his father. He was unable to have any contact with the outside world and he stayed in castle until one day he was let out. His father blinded him from religion and human hardship, the only thing he wanted for Siddhartha was for him to become king.
Through his teens Siddhartha was showered with whatever he wanted (mostly girls).
