  • I AM A GREAT WARRIOR!
  • Coyote did many wonderful things, he killed monsters and the evil spirits.
  • Who is this?
  • Coyote also gave many people their names and taught them languages.
  • We will return one day...
  • Coyote would like to play jokes on everyone and tell them that he was a great warrior.
  • The Great Spirit came down to earth and took the shape of an old man. The Old man told Coyote he was the Chief of the earth.
  • The Great Spirit tested Coyote and took him back to the place he had prepared for him. No one truly knows where he went.
  • The theme/moral of this story is the fulfillment of life. The Great Spirit made Coyote in order to teach the Native Americans their language and identity. Once he has done this, the Great Spirit takes him away.
