  • Democracy is a system of government where citizens get to elect a representative. The elected representative rules/makes decisions for a period of time then is either voted to stay for another period of time or a new representative is voted for. It is a fair way to decide how things run, and majority wins. In order for a country to call themselves democratic they need to provide equal voting.
