In the Paleolithic Age, we had to live in tents and caves.
We were very uncomfortable and cold and we could not control the animals that lived in them.
The first major change in shelters was we stayed put and had permanent shelters.
This made it easier to make our homes more comfortable and make life easiler.
By staying put we were able to make stronger and better houses with better temperatures for us.
Also with better houses we were able to defend against animals better and could protect ourselves better.
We feel this topic is important because if people didn't have permanent shelters they would have to move all of the time. They would not be able to make new tools or have the things they have by staying in a permanent home. They are able to make better foods and provide better and more resources.
