  • The French sets up bases to stop the British from traveling inland North America.
  • Don't trade with the British, they're our enemies!
  • We are on your side. You don't take our land like the British do.
  • George Washington was sent, along with a small troop of militia, to fight the French in Pennsylvania.
  • Washington was defeated and forced to surrender.
  • An England a politician named William Pitt took over the war. He was much more forceful in driving back the French.
  •  I will send more British troops to America and send the Navy to block the French from getting any supplies. We shall also make a treaty with the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ohio Valley Indians.
  • The British were victorious as one French base after the other fell. The biggest victory was when General James Wolfe conquered the Canadian city of Quebec.
  • Three years later, after France lost, they signed a treaty with the British called the Treaty of Paris. France had to give up all its land in North America and the British expanded its territory all the way to the Mississippi River and all of Canada.
