An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Force equals mass times acceleration. F=MA
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
The football is staying at rest right now and the guy is gonna kick it and the football would be acted on by an outside force.
The two vehicles are stopping and the smaller vehicle can stop easier while the bigger vehicle would take a little longer to stop so it would hit smaller one.
The kid was bouncing the ball which was the action and the ball hitting the floor was the reaction.
