  • hey im the sun and im going to tell you about photosynthesis
  • trees like me need sunlight and drink water and take in carbon dioxide
  • water flow
  • first my sunlight travels to the tree, then is in carbon dioxide and sucks up water from the earth with its roots
  • Once I have reached the leaf the chlorll captures my energy and uses it to make sugars out of carbon dioxide from the air, and water from its roots=, stems, and leaves so the plant can grow. This process is called photosynthesis
  • Photosynthesis takes place in the leaves. Leaves have tiny pores called stomata which lets the carbon dioxide enter in leaves
  • Plant cells contain tiny stuctures called chloroplasts that contain chlorophyll.
  • Oxygen then leaves the plant through the stomata.
