Conflicts with the Native Americans and Colonists started when the Colonists encroached onto Native Territory. In response the Natives retaliated with a series of incursions onto farmlands.
"We should not escalate the conflict into full out war. There I will advocate for a policy of containment of the Indians."
Afterwards many colonists got angry and openly rebelled. They were lead by Nathaniel Bacon who burned Jamestown to the Ground.
As the rebellion was about to win poor Nathaniel Bacon died of dystentry. The rebellion would collapse soon afterwards.
Governor Berkeley comes back from exile with a few hundred troops and shortly gains back the land that was lost.
The rebellion was crushed and the rest of the rebels were hanged.
