Robin Hood woke up one day in bed in his small room, thinking to himself, “people have been taken advantage of, and I must do something.” But he then remembered that he promised his mother he would go visit her today because she had not seen him in a while and she wanted to know what he was up to.
He woke up, got ready, loaded his bow and arrows on to his horse, like usual, and headed out for the next town over.
On the way, he spotted a very rich man yelling at a poor man on the ground, telling him “he was worthless”, and that “how dare he get in the way of him.” Robin knew he had to do something
He confronted the man, who knew who he was because this was a very common thing for Robin Hood to do. He fleed and Robin helped the man up, giving him the money that the rich man had dropped when he ran away.
Robin realized how late it was getting and he hurried to his mom’s house, just in time for dinner.
His mom asked, “So how was your day?” and of course Robin Hood said, “oh very uneventful.”
