Rosa parks on a bus refusing to give a seat to a white person.
Our text evidence is on page 86 and it says "Now, if you can believe this, when a white fellow got on the bus, the driver told her to get up and give up her seat to him. Excuse me? Mrs. parks said no. The driver came back raising a fuss, talking about how she had better get up or he's call the police to come and arrest her."
Bus driver: Give him the seat or I will call the police.
White person: Get off and let me sit down

On pg 91 is says "Four Black students just went in there and sat down at the white folks lunch counter. They were put in jail,but people heard about it and started doing it all over the South."
In the book Heart and Soul on pg it states 'Martin Luther King Jr made his I have dream speech" This helped for Africans to have liberty and freedom but most of all equality
