Storyboard Text

  • Declaration of Independence
  • Bro, we might still die.
  • WHHHOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO
  • The colonists now have freedom.
  • All men are created equal
  • Yay! We are now equal!
  • All people have basic rights that can not be taken away.
  • Your still not above the law...
  • I'm powerful now!
  • Instead of staying with Great Britain, the colonists would now be able to break away to become American.
  • The government gets its power to make decisions if protects the rights from the people.
  • I will protect you.
  • The first principle allowed people to be equal, which meant no racism or slavery!
  • When the government does not protect the rights of the people, the people have the right to alter or abolish the government,
  • Everyone has basic rights that can not be taken away from anyone. Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
  • The most important principle.
  • If the government protects the rights of the people, they get it's power to make decisions.
  • If the President or leader puts his/her people in danger, the people have the decision to impeach
  • We want you impeached!
  • Yeah you did not protect us.
  • I think the most important principle is number 2. This is because if all people don't have basic rights, everyone isn't created equal, then the government aren't protecting the rights of people.
