The patriots won the battle at Lexington and Concord,which put the Loyalists in an “uncomfortable” position.It became dangerous to be on the British side. The defeat of the Loyalists led to the start of the American Revolution.
Britain won the battle after three tries with the Patriots and finally overpowered them.Although, this resulted in a major loss of lives,but a victory for Britain.
Women’s Roles in the Revolution
Britain having one of the most powerful armies in the world,the Americans ended up winning.The British got a warning the night before the battle that the Continental Army was coming,but they ignored it.This was a “major” defeat.
War at Sea
The British and Native Americans planned on invading the frontier ,but the Americans heard of the plans and countered them with a small attack.The Americans won the battle.
As a result these women helped give and make most of the rights for women we have today. By demanding rights for women in a time where women have little to no rights impacted the women community for the better.
As a result, James Forten refused to go back to Britain, and became part of the American Revolution. Most people on board with John Paul Jones died.
