He escaped from slavery when he was 27 years old.

Crispus was sold to Deacon William Brown as a slave when he was 16 years old.

Crispus Attucks died March 5, 1770.
His funeral was March 8, 1770 and is known to be the first to fall in the American Revolution.

He was buried in the Granary Burying Ground in Boston, MA.
